Dock-A-Day is a short-term dock rental business focused on providing easy dock spaces for the everyday boater. Dock-A-Day’s platform allows for dock owners to rent out their unused or rarely used dock spaces to boaters that are in need of a short-term solution for all their docking needs. Whether it be traveling, a weekend outing, or just wanting the convenience of keeping a boat in the water, Dock-A-Day will be able to provide!

During his many countless hours on the waters of South Carolina, founder Richard Kneece began to notice the large number of unused or rarely used dock spaces around the state, both in freshwater and saltwater. Growing up in Columbia, SC, Lake Murray was the closest large body of water to enjoy on a hot Summer's Day. Many times on Friday evenings after a long afternoon on the water, Richard began to wish he could just leave his boat in the water for the entirety of the weekend, rather than having to put it in and out every day at the boat ramp and then have to take it all the way back home. This is where the idea for Dock-A-Day first came about.
